The Puget Sound Engineering & Science Scholarship Fund (PSE&SSF) has initiated their college
scholarship program for 2012.
Follow the links provided to obtain and complete a scholarship application. The deadline for receipt of
completed scholarship applications is Friday, March 11, 2012.
A completed application may be submitted in one of two ways.
Additionally, submit all transcripts by US Mail so that they are received no later than Friday,
March 11, 2012 (please postmark by March 09, 2012).

The following scholarship applications may be applied for by use of either scholarship submittal
method:
- PSE&SSF College Scholarships (for graduating HS seniors)
- SAME Seattle Post College Scholarship (for graduating HS seniors)
- SAME Seattle Post Member-sponsored Scholarship
- Lockheed Martin Olympic College Scholarship
PSE&SSF College Scholarship (for graduating HS seniors): The student must be
accepted into a full-time program of study towards a Bachelors of Science (BS) Degree in
engineering, science, technology, or a related field. Currently, $1,000 in college
scholarships (typically awarded in amounts of $1,000) will be awarded to graduating HS
seniors that will be attending an accredited college or university in the fall of 2012.
SAME Seattle Post College Scholarship (for graduating HS seniors): The student must
be a US citizen accepted in a full-time program of study towards a Bachelors of Science (BS)
Degree in engineering, science, technology, or a related field. $12,500 in college
scholarships (11 High School scholarships at $1,000 and 1 High School scholarship at
$1,500 [top honor]) will be awarded to graduating high school seniors that will be attending an
accredited college or university in the fall of 2012.
SAME Seattle Post Member-sponsored Scholarship: The student must be a US citizen
sponsored by a SAME Seattle Post Member. The applicant may be either currently enrolled
as a full-time college student or be a graduating high school senior. The applicant must be
enrolled in or be accepted into a full-time program leading to a Bachelors of Science (BS)
Degree in the fields of engineering, science, technology, or a related field at an accredited
college or university. If a graduating senior, the applicant must have graduated from or be
scheduled to graduate from an accredited high school, public or private, in 2012. Six
scholarships will be awarded to Post Member-sponsored applicants (5 Post Membersponsored
scholarships at $2,000 and 1 Post Member-sponsored scholarship at $2,500 [top
honor]).
Additionally, sponsored candidates who are graduating HS seniors will automatically be
considered for SAME Seattle Post-Member-sponsored Scholarships, SAME Seattle Post
College Scholarships, and PSE&SSF College Scholarships.
Lockheed Martin Olympic College Scholarship: Applicant must be presently enrolled at
Olympic College, Bremerton, WA.
The final number and amount of scholarships may be adjusted based on the number and quality of the
applications as well as additional funds which may become available.
